Green colleges are now being rated
Josh Saunders at Green Biz reports that green colleges are now being rated by the Princeton Review. He points out that “the trend of colleges and universities going green is growing at an incredible pace.”
In surveys students have said that whether or not a college had a green campus might influence their decision regarding attending the school.
While he goes through some of the schools specifically, he does remind us that “While I applaud the efforts of many of these schools that have begun initial efforts, only 15 schools out of 700 make the highest ranking on the Princeton list showing that more must be done and more must be communicated to their communities to keep the momentum going.”
