For the month of April, Walmart is highlighting Terracycle’s products made from waste packaging and other trash. Walmart will display 60 Terracycle products next to the original products they were made from as part of Walmart’s “Earth Month” campaign, according to Greenbiz .

Terracycle makes a variety of products including tote bags, backpacks and messenger bags from drink pouches, and  picture frames and coasters made from circuit boards.

Terracycle gets waste packaging from “collection brigades” that collect and send in wrappers, drink pouches and other listed waste and receive $.02 or more depending on the product.

Terracycle products are available at Target, Kmart and Home Depot, but by partnering with Walmart, even for a limited time, Terracycle will be able to offer its greatest number of products to a greater number of consumers.
