Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize (MIT Panel video with Professor Adil Najam is on this site). While there appears to be universal concern about climate change, some question the urgency and others question the methods.

Cape Wind, slated to become the first offshore wind farm in the United States, achieved a stunning victory recently by overcoming all regulatory barriers to the project in Massachusetts.

AMERICA HAS FALLEN in love with green. We are enamored with the words “energy-efficient,” “renewable” and “sustainable.” Rachel Carson, who sounded the environmental alarm with her book Silent Spring, in 1962, must be thinking, “It’s about time.”

I talked about the new global consciousness with Professor Adil Najam, one of the climate-change scientists on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore. (See below for the video from The MIT Panel on Climate Change)
